During question period in the House of Commons on Monday, Health Minister Mark Holland called for the Conservative party to stop blocking an initiative that would provide women across Canada with free contraceptives. “Any party that stands in the way of that is standing in the way of basic freedom for women in this country to have freedom and autonomy over their bodies,” Holland said.
