Freeland says feds have ‘responsible and fiscal plan’ as U.S. holds interest rates

Asked about the U.S. Federal Reserve potentially not cutting interest rates unless inflation eases and whether the same could happen with the Bank of Canada, Finance Minister Chrystia Freeland says the job of the government is to keep inflation low and that it is “sticking to a responsible and fiscal plan” within its budget.
