A historic deal was signed in Kahnawake territory Thursday between Hydro-Québec and the Mohawk Council of Kahnawake for co-ownership of a power line between Quebec and New York. For the parties involved, the agreement shows the possibilities of new relationships between Indigenous communities and big business.
