Health Matters: Advocates say federal budget doesn’t tackle food insecurity

Canada’s latest federal budget failed to tackle food affordability, according to a food security advocacy organization. Community Food Centres Canada says nearly 20 per cent of the population is dealing with food insecurity, and the budget won’t help them with direct income support.
