Peel Regional Police Chief Nishan Duraiappah announced on Wednesday that multiple people have been arrested and charged in Canada’s biggest gold and money heist at Toronto Pearson airport last year. During a press conference, it was announced that 6,600 gold bars weighing over 400 kilograms and valued at over $20 million dollars were stolen from Toronto Pearson International Airport, as well as stolen cash valued at $2.5 million.
