Former NFL star and actor O.J. Simpson has died of cancer at the age of 76. Simpson was thrust into the national spotlight in 1994 when he was charged in the violent murders of his ex-wife Nicole Brown and her friend Ronald Goldman. A slow-moving police chase of an on-the-run Simpson in a white Ford Bronco, which was nationally televised, and the subsequent trial captivated the United States and the world.
