Toronto vows to fix vacant home tax after billing ‘fiasco’

Toronto’s mayor is telling tens of thousands of residents who got incorrect vacant home tax bills to not pay the late fee as the city works to fix the issue. The budget chief says staff will be directed to learn from the complaints to ensure a repeat of the issues doesn’t occur. Matthew Bingley reports.
