Fans of the grunge genre from across the globe descended upon Seattle this week to celebrate the legacy of late Nirvana frontman, Kurt Cobain – who is considered one of the most prolific songwriters of the 20th century. The beloved musician and ‘Smells Like Teen Spirit’ songwriter unexpectedly took his own life 30 years ago, on April 5, 1994.
