Nearly a year after the Scarborough RT derailed, there are renewed calls for a more transparent and independent review of how the TTC maintained its defunct route in the leadup to the incident. Advocates say they need assurances the city’s remaining transit lines are also being maintained to a safe level. Matthew Bingley reports.
