Some long-awaited changes may soon be coming for unmarried couples in Quebec. The province’s justice minister has now tabled his third and final family law reform bill, Bill 56. It aims to grant common-law couples some of the same rights as those who are married, But as Franca Mignacca reports, some say it doesn’t go far enough.
