On January 15, 2009, Dave Sanderson’s life changed forever. Sanderson was one of 155 people on board US Airways Flight 1549, now known as the “Miracle on the Hudson.” In August 2021, Sanderson returned to the Hudson River, the site of the plane crash, for a successful open water swim for charity.
