Canada’s ambassador to Haiti will remain in the Caribbean country, Foreign Affairs Minister Mélanie Joly said on Saturday. She said there’s still work being done to bring security amid the humanitarian crisis in Haiti. This comes after Global News learned that members of Canada’s elite special forces unit are on the ground in Haiti.
