There are growing calls for Quebec’s transport ministry to re-think its decision to close the Île-aux-Tourtes Bridge as Hudson prepares for its St. Patrick’s Day. Now, some politicians and community leaders are also joining the chorus. They argue that closing the bridge on the same weekend as the parade far from necessary and threatens the vitality of the parade. Global’s Felicia Parrillo reports.
