Despite the contact loss of the Starship during its re-entry into Earth’s atmosphere, SpaceX succeeded in multiple of its critical objectives during its third test launch on Thursday. The Starship was intended to “splash down” in the Indian Ocean, but it was presumed lost after losing contact with Starlink and the Tracking and Data Relay Satellite System.
