Alberta RCMP Supt. Rick Jane said in the course of investigating allegations of voter fraud in the 2017 UCP leadership race, there was some evidence ballots were cast without people’s consent but it was a small number of suspicious votes and the evidence was not enough to prove criminal wrongdoing in court.
