Homeowners hoping to do energy upgrades are out of luck if they haven’t already had an application to the federal government’s Greener Homes Grant, because there are no more applications being accepted. Environmental groups are calling on Ottawa to renew the program that offered homeowners up to $5,000 for approved energy upgrades such as a new energy efficient furnace or solar panels.
