Defence Minister Bill Blair and Employment Minister Randy Boissonnault announced a commitment of $45.3 million to improvements to CFB Edmonton on Monday. “It’s going to make this base more sustainable, save money, put people to work and actually do the job of not just making our commitments to greenhouse gas emissions, but actually doing right by the soldiers here by making sure that we have buildings that are sustainable for the long-term,” Boissonnault said in his remarks.
