Inspector Michael Williams announced on Friday that Toronto police have arrested 27-year-old Umar Saad in connection with a pellet gun attack on a 76-year-old woman in the city’s east end. The incident occurred on Thursday, near Hupfield Trail and McLevin Avenue, where the woman was approached from behind and shot. Police said the woman is suffering non-life threatening injuries to her face and hands, currently recovering at home.
