Leader of Government Steve MacKinnon joked in the House of Commons on Tuesday that Conservative MP Eric Melillo needs to “be unplugged from the wall and plugged back in,” after he stumbled trying to repeat the common Conservative slogan “axe the tax, build the homes, fix the budget and stop the crime.” MacKinnon said that the Conservative representative should help pass the fall economic statement, instead of “trying to get the leader’s lines right.”
