White House National Security Communications Advisor John Kirby told a press conference on Tuesday that the U.S. would be providing an additional $53 million in humanitarian assistance for the people of Gaza and West Bank. Kirby added this brings the total contributions to over $180 million since Oct. 7, 2023, though he said “much more aid is needed.”
