According to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, negotiators are working on a potential hostage deal in Gaza, which could lead to another temporary ceasefire in the region for the first time in three months. The negotiations come amidst a growing backlash to the Netanyahu government’s handling of the conflict, as more than a million civilians remain trapped in southern Gaza with urgent need for aid.
