Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy says more than 31,000 Ukrainian soldiers have been killed in the past two years since Russia’s full-scale invasion. This is the first time Ukraine has openly given details of how many soldiers have died in over a year. Additionally, Ukraine’s defence minister stated that the country is “losing territory” in its grinding war with Russia due to the failure of about 50 per cent of the promised weapons failing to reach Kyiv on time.
