Eight-year-old Keyaan has autism and is non-verbal. The public school system could not appropriately accommodate his needs, so his mother – a single mom with two other boys on the autism spectrum – received funding from Variety and enrolled him in PALS, a school specifically designed for children with autism. Now Keyaan has found a safe place with the tools and resources he needs to thrive.
