Chamber pens letter to province over travel ban
Description
February 23, 2024
Ineffective, inappropriate, and very costly. That's how one Okanagan Chamber group describes last summer‘s wildfire-related travel ban that it says put an unnecessary halt to the late summer tourism season. As Klaudia Van Emmerik reports, the group has now penned a letter to the province ahead of this year's wildfire season, so it doesn't happen again.
