Amid ‘Barbie’ success, Halifax university panel finds gaps in representation

The Barbie movie continues to grow in popularity, having just won a People’s Choice Award for movie of the year. But some Halifax professors from Saint Mary’s University hosted a discussion panel, critiquing the film and finding gaps in its narrative. Vanessa Wright has more on their findings and why they say the movie can be used as a tool in academia.
