Huge turnout, contentious debate over Red Deer’s overdose prevention site

A public meeting is being held at Red Deer city hall before a vote that could see the city ask the Alberta government to close the supervised consumption site as early as the end of the year. As Doug Vaessen reports, the meeting brought a lot of emotion to the council chamber.
