Montreal merchant claims Queen Mary bus lane to blame for store closure

A NDG store that’s been operating for more than 70 years says it’s closing its doors because a new bus lane has hurt business. The city installed reserved lanes during rush hour on Queen Mary more than one year ago as some merchants petitioned against them. They worried their customers wouldn’t be able to park. Now they say their fears have become a reality. Global’s Dan Spector reports.
