Ask a Lawyer: Who represents the children of parents going through a divorce?
Description
February 6, 2024
Family breakups are often complex, so it isn't uncommon that parents who are separating, or going through a divorce, hire lawyers to represent them in court. What's less commonly known is that in some cases, the children in these families are also represented by lawyers to make sure their wishes are known. Legal Aid Alberta staff lawyer Elizabeth Turner joined us on Global News Morning to talk more about it.
