During a press conference on Monday where London, Ont. police announced sexual assault charges against five members of Canada’s 2018 World Junior hockey team, Chief Thai Truong apologized to the victim. “I’m apologizing to the victim and to her family because it’s taken this long. This should not take this long, it should not take years and years for us to arrive to the outcome of today.”
