B.C. lawyer under fire for AI-generated fake case law

The Law Society of BC has launched an investigation into a lawyer who submitted fake case law to the courts, after using artificial intelligence. As Rumina Daya reports, it’s believed to be the first case of its kind in Canada, and the lawyers who discovered the bogus information are suing.
