City hall shooter was ‘heavily armed and acted alone: Edmonton police chief

Several gunshots rang out in Edmonton City Hall Tuesday, where the mayor, several city councillors, the city’s fire chief, staff and journalists were attending an emergency management committee meeting. Our Breanna Karstens-Smith witnessed the shooting firsthand and has the story of how the shooter was arrested before anyone was hurt.
