At least eight people in southwest China died on Monday morning following a landslide in the mountainous Yunnan province that covered an abundance of houses with soil. Apart from the fatalities, at least 39 other people are reportedly missing as rescue teams continue their search for any victims in snowy, subzero temperatures.
