Ahead of South Carolina’s Democratic primary on Feb. 3, U.S. Vice President Kamala Harris delivered the keynote address to the state on Saturday, marking three years since the Jan. 6, 2021 riots at the U.S. Capitol. She reflected on the “violence, chaos, and lawlessness” of the fateful day, condemning Republicans involved for using “brutal force and fear to try and overturn the results of a free and fair election.”
