In a dramatic rescue operation on Iceland’s Reykjanes Peninsula, a commercial pilot spotted an emergency signal close to the site of a live volcanic eruption. Pilot Ernir Snaer and his friend Finnir Snae Baldvinsoon were flying near the eruption when they saw a flashing light and identified it as an S.O.S signal.
