On Tuesday night, a local news helicopter crashed in a wooded area of New Jersey, killing the pilot and photographer on board. Chief George Fedorczyk, New Jersey State Park Police, told reporters on Wednesday that “At this time, the scene is being secured by the New Jersey State Park Police with the assistance of the New Jersey Forest Fire Service, the New Jersey state police and the Hamilton township police department and know our thoughts are with the pilots, their families, and the media community.”
