George Cohon, founder of McDonald’s Canada and Ronald McDonald Children’s Charities dies at 86

Canadian businessman George Cohon passed away Friday at the age of 86. Cohon was well-known both nationally and internationally as the founder of McDonald’s Restaurants in Canada and was involved in opening McDonald’s in Moscow on January 31, 1990. Cohon was also the founder of Ronald McDonald Children’s Charities across the country. Susan Hay takes a look back at a life well lived.
