Thousands of Quebec health-care workers, mostly support staff in hospitals and medical clinics, walked off the job on Tuesday in as massive strike. Similar to other public sector workers, they are part of a common front of unions demanding higher salaries and improved working conditions. Global’s Tim Sargeant reports.
