Prime Minister Justin Trudeau described Canada’s relationship with China as “complex” and “in a challenging time” during remarks at the 2023 Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) forum on Friday. Trudeau also said that the “positive meeting” between U.S. President Joe Biden and China President Xi Jinping at the summit was a “good sign.”
