Poilievre accuses NDP of ‘flip-flopping’ on carbon price pause position

During question period on Tuesday, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau defended his government’s measures to help Canadians transition from home heating oil to using a heat pump as a cleaner and less expensive alternative. He criticized the Conservative Party for not taking climate change seriously. Conservative Party Leader Pierre Poilievre, responded by saying, “Canadians know that the only thing fake is this prime minister.” He also accused the NDP of “flip-flopping” on the carbon tax, asking “What is the NDP position on the carbon tax right now?”
