Manitoba Premier Wab Kinew said Monday, following a meeting of territorial and provincial premiers, that carbon pricing was “not a silver bullet” when it comes to fighting climate change. He added that Manitobans should get “similar consideration” as Atlantic Canadians from the federal government when it comes to a carbon pricing carve-out, “to get us through this period of economic pain.”
