The governor of Maine and Lewiston police confirmed the death of mass shooting suspect Robert R. Card on Friday during a press conference, following an extensive, statewide two-day manhunt. Card was found dead by a river near the town of Lisbon, with an “apparent, self-inflicted” gunshot wound. He was suspected of killing 18 people at a bar and bowling alley in Lewiston earlier this week.
