Blinken explains why no ceasefire has been called amid Israel-Hamas conflict

Secretary of State Antony Blinken spoke with CBS’ “Face the Nation” host Margaret Brennan on Sunday about why a temporary ceasefire has not been called amid the Israel-Hamas conflict in Gaza. “Freezing things in place where they are now would allow Hamas to remain where it is and to repeat what it’s done some time in the future,” Blinken said.
