During a Thursday housing announcement in the Northwest Territories, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau confirmed that the first evacuation flight from Israel carrying 130 Canadians has arrived safely in Athens from Tel Aviv, Israel. He said that a second plane has already landed in Tel Aviv, which will also be bringing people to Greece in a few hours, and added that the federal government is working on additional options for those who cannot reach the airport in Tel Aviv to provide assistance and logistical support.
