After announcing that Unifor and General Motors reached a tentative agreement hours after workers hit the picket lines on Tuesday, Unifor National President Lana Payne speculated that Stellantis will “come here kicking and screaming” ahead of contract negotiations. “The challenge with Stellantis is they have the largest footprint in Canada,” Payne said, adding that “our members at Stellantis deserve this pattern agreement too.”
