The U.S. Powerball lottery hit a brand new record on Saturday, offering a $1.4 billion jackpot prize to its lucky winner — if there even is one. A winner has not been picked since July, equivalent to 33 drawings, resulting in the large reward that has accumulated over time. Global’s Jennifer Johnson reports.
