Nova Scotia announces new regulations for short-term rentals

On Thursday, Nova Scotia’s housing minister announced his intentions to change how short-term rentals are regulated throughout the province. As Megan King reports, new legislation would allow for higher registration fees for short-term accommodations with the hope of convincing operators to convert to long-term housing.
