Justice Minister Mark Furey reiterated on Wednesday that there is an appropriate time and venue for an apology -- but didn't say when or where that may be. 

Since the moratorium was put in place last April, politicians have admitted "the inappropriate use of street checks is alarming and unacceptable" but have all stopped short of issuing any apology.
