Sleeman Brewery founder John Sleeman received the Lifetime Achievement Award for his dedication to the community.

John Sleeman was one of 44 who were appointed to the order in a ceremony in Ottawa. The list includes former Olympian Mark Tewksbury and television journalist Lisa LaFlamme.
