Using six hydraulic string jacks and over 300 steel wires it took a crew of 50 people more than 14 hours to lower the 22 hundred tons steel frame.

The woman dubbed the Mermaid of the St-Lawrence river is back in action this weekend leading an underwater cleanup expedition called Operation Cleanup 360, where close to 100 divers and volunteers are spending 24 hours cleaning up one of the province's main sources of drinking water.
