The expanded coverage will provide professional and volunteer firefighters in Saskatchewan presumptive coverage for 15 types of cancer, along with heart injury.

The Saskatchewan government said the province’s 6,500 volunteer firefighters will have access to the same presumptive coverage as their professional counterparts.
